Jesus G. Franco was born and raised in Sacramento, California and is a multimedia creative/influencer. Jesus seeks to portray the struggles, thoughts, and frustrations of his community. Through Jesus’ work with Communities for A New California, he has been able to do just that. As part of a community outreach team, he has worked to inform communities on social, economic, and educational issues and propose solutions. With no “formal” education other than a high school diploma, Jesus strives to exceeds expectations in a world that defines people by what they should be instead of what they are.

The John Sperling Fellowship program has been a catalyst of inspiration for Jesus.
